How I feel about being pregnant: EXHAUSTED! I'll end up taking a nap or three so I can get through the rest of the day. Everything in the house is 100% clean, packed and ready for this little boy. At 36 weeks my doctor requested I have a growth ultrasound done to see how big our boy will roughly measure when he arrives. After the ultrasound I followed up an appointment with my doctor who informed me that my fluids were low and wants another ultrasound done the following week and to drink lots of water between now and my next appointment. On a brighter note baby is healthy weighing in at 5 lbs. 14 oz. It's almost that time this boy gets his show on the road. I mentioned my doctor requested an ultrasound and a follow up. At this ultrasound I was able to see that my baby has a head full of hair and stuff four of his fingers in his mouth. Meeting with my doctor afterwards she was happy to say my fluids were back up to normal again. She performed a weekly cervical check along with a membrane strip to help get things rolling.
What I'm most excited about: Holidays as a family. It's all exciting to me. Time is ticking faster than ever, just weeks left! EEK!
Symptoms: The usual heartburn, back ache, fatigued, moody, and braxton hicks. The feeling of menstrual cramps more than anything!
Something I've done to prepare for baby: I can't possible think of anything else to prepare for his arrival. I think I'm set with all that there is to prepare for right now.
Something sweet my husband did for me: He prearranged a surprise getaway to a beach house on Whidbey Island. I enjoyed it so much I didn't want to go home!
Stay tuned for week 38..
